Life Hangover

I apologize for the unintentional hiatus. Here's a quick update/post to somehow make up for the time I haven't. Been busy lately dealing with life and these pictures are some of the things I have been up to these days.

1.) Me, Kim, and Abby at Relik. 2.) Ms. Rose, our choice of drink for the night. 3.) Us three again for Abby's despedida. 4.) Tried to dye my hair blonde with this Revlon Colorsilk but greatly failed. Will have to bleach it first!
5.) My Nike Air Max went for an evening run. 6.) Worked them cute dumbbells after another evening run.
7.) My lil man rockin them Primitives.

I will try to update this as often as I could. Promise.

Alexander Wang SS13

Tough. Unorthodox. Bad ass. Intricate. Unexpected. On point.
Words I live by.
Gotta love Alexander Wang.

Sneaker Wedges • Splurge, Spend, or Save

SPLURGE: Isabel Marant Bazil Suede and Snake-effect Sneakers at Net-a-porter, Php28,083 -shipping excluded (buy here)
Sneaker Wedges are the talk lately, particularly the Bekket sneaker wedges. Some love it and some, well, they can't take it. These shoes are not for the faint and takes guts to take it out for a spin. Personally, I love it and thought it'd be a great idea to post the many options one can veer towards on this particular trend. Everyone would love to have what Hollywood celebs have been rocking, the brand and style that started it all - the Isabel Marant Bekket. Its originality and versatility caught my eye. You could pair it with leggings, shorts, mullet skirts, or micro-minis! Plus instant height addition without the pain y'all. But with it's costly tag price and, not to mention, it is always sold out online, not everyone could afford and put their hands on this particular pair. If I had enough money and if the universe will magically put the 'available' sign next to these online, I'd definitely bag it!

SPEND: Marant Wedge Sneakers in Black at Shoe Goddess, Php2,236 - shipping included (buy here)
I have been scouring the internet for a decent looking sneaker wedges for my birthday and found these! Bought these as a gift for myself and are supposed to arrive on October. Can't wait! For just 2,000+ Pesos, I think these are worth it and the closest to the original ones (Bekkets in black) that are available.

SAVE: Heidi Wedge Hi Top by Rubi Shoes at Cotton On, Php1,941 - shipping included (buy here)
For me, this is the closest to the Marant Bekkete but unfortunately found them a little too late.*sad face* Discovered them when I was searching for videos of sneaker wedges and they came up. Contacted Rubi Shoes (an Australian brand) and they gave me a link to these babies. At first I was ecstatic because from its original price of Php2,161 it came down to 217-freakin-PESOS (!!!) that's without the shipping fee. The price quoted above is the shoes with the shipping rate. But, whattheheck, it's a freakin bargain if you ask me!! The sad thing is that they don't have my size anymore. Rubi Shoes said that I should regularly check in to see if they have restocked. So, you guys, keep on checking!! I personally love the blue/white colorway for this one. Check them out here.

Oh! I also heard they're selling sneaker wedges here in Manila too over at Promod for Php4,000+. Go check em out too!

Which sneaker wedge would you pick?
